In April 2026, MONUM signed a contract for the design, author supervision, and construction works for the development of the wastewater and sludge management system at the Ādaži Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 26 Smilgu Street, Ādaži. The project aims to reduce environmental pollution and increase the treatment plant’s capacity.

The primary objective of the project is to significantly reduce the amount of pollutants discharged into the environment while increasing the capacity of the wastewater treatment facilities. This will ensure the sustainable and efficient operation of the infrastructure in line with modern environmental standards and the region’s future development needs.

The project includes the modernisation of existing systems and the implementation of new technological solutions to improve wastewater treatment quality, optimise sludge management processes, and enhance the overall efficiency of the treatment system. The upgraded infrastructure will provide safer and more environmentally friendly wastewater treatment while creating additional capacity to support future regional development and population growth.

The project has been commissioned by SIA “Ādažu ūdens” and is scheduled for completion within 20 months.
