Immurement of capsule in the foundations of Sigulda Sports Hall signifies beginning of large scale construction works 15.10.2015
Today, on October 15, 2015 a capsule was immured in the foundations of Sigulda sports complex, built by ‘MONUM’ Ltd. and ‘Uzars celtniecība’ Ltd. within the partnership ‘S.J.U.C.’. The capsule contained a message for the next generations, a 1 lat coin issued during the 800th birthday celebrations of Sigulda, as well as an informative bulletin prepared by Sigulda Municipality. Construction works were already commenced in September, however the immurement of the capsule signifies a more active process.

On Thursday, October 15th, a time capsule with a message for the next generations will be built into the foundations of the perspective Sigulda sports complex. The event will be attended by the owners of the building – representatives of Sigulda Region Council, representatives of the designer and contractor partnership ’S.J.U.C.’ – ’MONUM’ Ltd., as well as the bobsleigh legend, the bronze medallist of the 1984 Olympic Games Zintis Ekmanis.
Ridgepole Celebrations at Nica Sports Hall 06.10.2015
This September ridgepole celebrations were held at Nica sports hall, the construction of which began in spring 2015. The project is developed by ’MONUM’, and the locals proudly call it ‘the Nica building of the century’. The traditional hanging of a wreath on a ridgepole symbolises a new phase in the construction process – supporting structures and roof constructions have been finished and the building has assumed its shape. At the moment Ruukki panels are being erected, so that ’MONUM’ can commence interior works soon.

The new boiler house will reduce the current total "Jūrmalas siltums" gas consumption by 41% and provide population of Kauguri district with heat that is produced from renewable energy sources 71.2% of total demand.
Iecavas art and music school celebrates lifting of the final roof rafter on place 26.06.2015
On June 19, 2015, the reconstruction of Iecavas art and music school reached a new development stage - the final rafter of the building structure was lifted into place and topped with a traditional wreath made of evergreens, flowers and ribbons. The ridgepole ceremony was attended by both Iecavas county council representatives and builders.

’MONUM’ will expand sewerage and water supply networks in Jelgava 03.06.2015
AFter winning an open competition, ’MONUM’ today signed an agreement with ’Jelgavas udens’ Ltd. for sewer and water network extension works in Jelgava city (section 1 - 6) withing the frame of European Union’s Cohesion Fund project "Water supply service development in Jelgava, stage IV" program. The project aims provide Jelgava residents with the city’s drinking water and sewerage service.
