On 27 September 2016, a contract was signed at the premises of Valmiera City Council for the construction of a multi-apartment rental building at Ķieģeļu Street 8/Mālu Street 1, Valmiera. The contract was signed by SIA “Valmieras Namsaimnieks”.
Festive opening of the Nica sports hall 20.07.2016
The new Nica sports hall was officially opened on 15 July, in the presence of many residents and visitors of Nica, as well as representatives of all the companies and authorities that were involved in the construction process. Though the year-long construction was not easy, we are pleased with the results, which will be much appreciated by active lifestyle fans in Nica. They call this newly built hall a building of the century for the Nica district.

In the afternoon of Friday, 8 July, a traditional topping out ceremony marked a new phase of development of our small, yet important project - "Extension of Adazi preschool education establishment - sports and event hall".
Reconstructed Bauska boiler house solemnly opened 13.06.2016
On 10 June, at a solemn event, the reconstructed boiler house of SIA Bauskas Siltums was oficially opened. The total capacity of the reconstructed boiler house will amount to 21 megawatts, and heating will be produced also by using the local renewable resource – wood chips.
Newly constructed Kauguri biomass-fuelled boiler house solemnly opened 10.06.2016
In Kauguri, Nometņu Street 21a, in the presence of a large number of Jurmala City Council employees, the management of SIA “Jūrmalas siltums”, representatives of the Latvian Association of Local Governments and companies involved in the construction process, the newly built Kauguri district central biomass (chip) boiler house was unveiled. , 2 million euros (excluding VAT) made by MONUM.
Nica sports hall commissioned 09.06.2016
Year-long Nica sports hall construction works have come to a successful end. The works have been carried out according to the plan – at the end of April our customer, Nica district council, signed the certificate of acceptance, and today the energy efficient sports hall was commissioned.
Ridgepole celebrations at Aloja district business support centre-library ‘SALA’ 06.06.2016
On Thursday, 2 June we celebrated the completion of a new project development phase at the emerging Aloja district business support centre-library ‘SALA’ – we have finished construction of the skeleton, thus outlining the shape of the new business support centre and library. SALA ridgepole ceremony was celebrated by Lake Ungurpils in the presence of Aloja district council employees and construction workers; a banquet was organised for the occasion and solemn speeches were given during the celebration.

Today the newspaper Dienas Bizness published the annual list of top 30 Latvian construction companies based on net turnover results for 2015, where MONUM ranked No.11.
