An exciting BMX race will take place in Riga over the upcoming weekend 27.05.2015
Over the weekend, from 30 to 31 May, exciting BMX competition will take place in Riga Mezaparks BMX track. On Saturday, May 30, Riga Cup will be held, but on Sunday, May 31, Riga Grand Prix first stage will take place. The race promises to be exciting for all the age groups, especially in the elite group where world famous Latvian elite BMX riders Edzus Treimanis, Rihards Veide and Kristens Krigers will take part. The Latvian BMX elite is supported by ’MONUM’. Trigger rides are expected from 16:00 on Saturday. It is planned that the Cup will bring together around 300 BMX cyclists from Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Finnish and Russian BMX clubs.
’MONUM’ will design and build the new sports complex in Sigulda 23.05.2015
We are proud of the current opportunity to participate in development of Latvian sports infrastructure. On May 22, ’MONUM’ within the partnership ’S.J.U.C.’ concluded two agreements with Sigulda council to design, supervise and buid a new sports complex in Ata Kronvalda Street 7, Sigulda. The first agreement includes conceptual and technical design and architectural supervision during project implementation. The second agreement concerns the construction of the sports complex, which will take almost a year.
Intensive construction work going on in Nica 14.05.2015
’MONUM’ has startedconstruction work of Nica sports hall. So far, we have arranged the buildign site and started land and excavation work to launch the construction of basement soon. Most of the work is scheduled to be completed already by the end of this year.The project ’Low-energy consumption building - Nica sports hall is being implemented withing the frame of Financial Mechanism 2009 - 2014, Programme "National Climate Policy" in the European Economic Area.

’MONUM’ puts into operation the newly built water supply and sewerage networks in Salaspils 17.04.2015
The project "Water development in Salaspils and Saulkalne, phase II", which took place in Salaspils county, has come to an end and the newly built networks are put into operation. In total ~18 627m water supply networks, ~12 443m gravity sewerage networks and ~ 932m sewage penstock and two pumping stations have been constructed, while two sewage pumping stations have been sucesfully reconstructed.
