Sigulda Culture Centre (Sigulda’s Devon) reconstructed by MONUM has taken the award-winning 2nd place in the competition "Latvian Construction Industry’s Annual Award 2018". Sigulda’s Devon has received the prestigious award in the nomination "Reconstruction" in a fierce competition among 140 initially submitted buildings in ten nominations.

In February this year, MONUM signed a contract for the reconstruction and modernisation of the Latvian-Russian border crossing point Terehova. The total cost of the project is EUR 7,186,389.76, including VAT.
Construction of sewage networks in Sigulda has been completed 04.02.2019
Work on one of the most ambitious sewage network construction projects of MONUM has been completed in Sigulda. As a result of the project, a sanitary and storm water sewer system has been built in the city. Moreover, the Kaijas Street roadbed excavation and paving has been carried out in addition to restoring the road surface and constructing street lighting.

Not only state-of-the-art buildings, but also advanced infrastructure is indicative of a modern city. We have completed work on the construction of the extension to Attekas Street in Ādaži. This is an important project, as it provides an easier access to the Ādaži Primary School, which is now under construction and is set to open its doors this autumn, as well as demonstrates the development of the city’s infrastructure as a whole.

Topping out ceremony at the new block of Sigulda State Gymnasium 19.12.2018
On 19 December, the topping out ceremony took place at the new block of Sigulda State Gymnasium. The work on the assembly of all load-bearing structures of the gymnasium’s natural sciences and mathematics teaching block has been completed, while the facade finish work and the construction of the utility networks continue.
