The Latvian National Motocross Team supported by MONUM wins the Junior Nation Cup 09.10.2018
On the 6th and 7th October the youngest Latvian motocross riders ranked first and second in the race “Coupe de l’Avenir’’ or the Future Hope Cup qualification in Belgium. The youngest athletes of the class MX65 won and the MX85 team was second. Nine athletes of the Latvian National Team won the overall among thirteen competing countries.
In this race athletes won individual prizes and also the overall. In the MX65 class Jānis Mārtiņš Reišulis (SK Elkšņi) ranked first in the overall and Markuss Ozoliņš (Kalsnavas MB) was third. In the team competition in the relevant age group together with Tomass Šaicāns (Salacas Kauss) out athletes got the honourable first place among thirteen countries.
“Our young athletes are bringing the name of Latvia to the global scene and we are proud to contribute to the growth of these young people. The win in Belgium clearly confirms the abilities of our young motocross riders and the huge work invested by coaches. Go ahead!” Māris Ozoliņš, the Chairman of the Management Board of MONUM appreciates the performance of the Latvian National Junior Motocross Team.
