The results of the competition “Sustainability in architecture, construction, design” have been announced 06.09.2021

This year On September 2, the results of the competition “Sustainability in Architecture, Construction, Design” were announced in Ogre Library. The competition was open to four nominations: Most Sustainable Building, Most Sustainable Project, Most Sustainable Public Outdoor Space and Most Sustainable Student Idea. The two main features of sustainability are thoughtfulness and soundness, the combination of which always results in a valuable building, improvement or design.

MONUM has received awards in several nominations of the competition “Sustainability in Architecture, Construction, Design 2021” – 1st and 2nd round of Ādaži Primary School in the nomination “Most Sustainable Building 2021”, receiving 2nd place and facilities at Ādaži Primary School in the nomination “Most Sustainable Public Outdoor Space 2021”, also receiving 2nd place.

Latvia is currently the only Baltic state where a competition for the most sustainable or valuable object is being organized for the eighth year in a row. Organizers of the competition – the association “Building Design and Construction Council”, cooperation partners – the Ministry of Economics and the State Construction Control Bureau.

The aim of the competition is to promote existing and future objects and ideas, the initial value of which does not decrease in the long run, whose functionality and structure are aimed at perfect service for the benefit of society for decades.
