’MONUM’ will design and build the new sports complex in Sigulda 23.05.2015

We are proud of the current opportunity to participate in development of Latvian sports infrastructure. On May 22, ’MONUM’ within the partnership ’S.J.U.C.’ concluded two agreements with Sigulda council to design, supervise and buid a new sports complex in Ata Kronvalda Street 7, Sigulda. The first agreement includes conceptual and technical design and architectural supervision during project implementation. The second agreement concerns the construction of the sports complex, which will take almost a year.

According to initial plans the new Sigulda sports complex will have the athletics sector with a 100-meter runway, heavy athletics hall, fitness rooms, sports hall, as well as a four-track 25 meter swimming pool and children’s pool with recreation area. The building will provide a connection – closed transition – with a neighboring Sigulda secondary school, and a connection with the adjacent track and field stadium.

The total design and construction price: 8.3 million EUR.
