MONUM has begun the reconstruction and modernization of the border crossing “Pāternieki” 14.08.2020
Construction work has begun on the border crossing “Pāternieki” in Krāslava district Piedrujas parish. Substantial work on reconstructing and modernizing the border crossing between Latvia and Belarus will be done within the project.
MONUM supports the World Motocross Championship 07.08.2020
Also this year MONUM supports the World Motocross Championship MXGP, which is held for the eleventh time in Latvia. The world’s strongest motocross riders will gather on the motocross track Zelta Zirgs in Ķegums to compete for the Latvian Grand Prix.

Wood chip boiler house in Valmiera has been put into operation 30.07.2020
The wood chip boiler house at 1 Dakstiņu Street, Valmiera has been put into operation. The new boiler house has been built as an environmentally friendly heat supply system, which will have a minimal impact on the environment, as heat generation will be ensured using renewable energy sources.

Sports Hall in Nīca – a meeting place for active people 29.06.2020
The low energy-use building of the Nīca Sports Hall built by MONUM four years ago was put into operation. Since its opening in July 2016, it has become a popular meeting place for the most active residents of Nīca and for sports enthusiasts from Liepāja and the region alike.

Ogre municipality has entered into an agreement with the general partnership “MMG” on the development, construction and author supervision of the construction project of the new Ogre State Gymnasium and sports building.
Topping out ceremony held for the apartment buildings “Divi krasti” 29.05.2020
Honouring the ancient traditions of construction, on 29 May a topping out ceremony was held at the MONUM project in Ķengarags, where the apartment houses Divi krasti (Two Riverbanks) are being built. The event took place in two parts, observing the restrictions set in the country, including the maximum number of people who are allowed to gather.
Reconstruction of the Sigulda State Gymnasium building continues 21.05.2020
We are continuing work on the 2nd stage of the Sigulda State Gymnasium project – reconstruction of the existing school building (the Trochee Block) at 7 Ata Kronvalda Street. After the reconstruction, the building will accommodate 20 modern classrooms with auxiliary rooms, as well as administration and teacher rooms.
