Competition Sustainability in architecture, construction, design 1st place in the nomination Most Sustainable Project 11.09.2023
The Sustainability in Architecture, Construction, Design competition, which has been running for the 9th year, covering the most valuable buildings and objects not only in Latvia, but also in the Baltic States, is organized by the association Building Design and Construction Council (BDCC, www.buvniekupadome.lv), the cooperation partner is the Construction State Control Office (BVKB).
This year, applications for the competition were received from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. The final ceremony took place on September 5, 2023 in the business center Origo One.
Nomination Most sustainable project 1st place was won by the new construction of Ogre gymnasium and sports hall. Client Ogre County Council, project Nams, construction PS MMG, construction supervision Akorda/Firma L4.
Along with the competition, valuable and sustainable projects are promoted, which are worth exploring and learning from. The transfer of experience in professional circles is the basis for the development and strengthening of ever better construction traditions. It is an indescribable pleasure to be among not only the nominees, but also among the laureates.
