In April 2026, MONUM concluded a contract for the design of the construction project, author’s supervision, and execution of construction works for the development of wastewater and sludge management systems, aimed at reducing pollution and increasing capacity at Ādažu NAI, Smilgu Street 26, Ādaži.

The objective of the project is to significantly reduce the amount of pollutants released into the environment and to increase the capacity of the treatment facilities, ensuring sustainable and efficient operation of the infrastructure in line with modern environmental requirements and the region’s development needs.

Within the scope of the project, existing systems will be modernised and new technological solutions will be implemented to improve the quality of wastewater treatment, optimise sludge management, and enhance the overall efficiency of the system. The upgraded infrastructure will ensure safer and more environmentally friendly wastewater treatment, while also creating capacity for future territorial development and population growth.

The project client is Ādažu ūdens. The project is planned to be implemented within 20 months.
