Topping-Out Ceremony Held at the CENTRUS Quarter 28.09.2026

On 25 September, an important milestone in the construction of the CENTRUS quarter in central Riga was marked with a traditional topping-out ceremony, as the buildings reached their full design height. Construction of the final phase of CENTRUS began in autumn 2025, with completion of the quarter and the arrival of its first residents planned for late 2027.
The final development phase of CENTRUS comprises five new buildings being constructed simultaneously: four seven-storey buildings and one five-storey building. Together, they will provide more than 150 apartments, with commercial premises located on the ground floors of all five buildings. With the structural frames now completed to their full height, the focus is increasingly shifting to façade construction, engineering systems, interior and finishing works, as well as landscaping of the quarter and its pedestrian promenade.
CENTRUS is located in Riga’s historic centre, in the city block between Blaumaņa, Dzirnavu, Tērbatas and K. Barona streets. Once completed, the project will create an integrated living environment combining residential buildings with commercial premises, a landscaped courtyard, a pedestrian promenade and recreational areas. The quarter will also feature a two-level underground car park with more than 400 parking spaces.
Thank you to everyone whose work, expertise and energy are helping to turn the vision of CENTRUS into reality!
