The newly specialized hospital of the Latvian Microsurgery Center has celebrated its topping-out ceremony 08.08.2024

A wreath has been placed atop the Latvian Microsurgery Center’s specialized hospital building, marking a significant milestone in the construction process.

The Latvian Microsurgery Center provides high-quality, evidence-based medical services, enabling the delivery of the best treatment outcomes while ensuring maximum patient safety. The center’s qualified specialists and high safety standards have established it as a renowned and respected medical institution not only in Latvia but also across Europe and globally.

Following extensive renovations, this building will facilitate a wide range of reconstructive, hand surgery, and plastic surgery operations. The renovation work has been entrusted to SIA MONUM, a multidisciplinary construction company with extensive experience. The rebuilding and expansion of the facility to meet the hospital’s needs is a complex process that requires a high level of expertise and meticulous planning. The hospital building must be functionally and ergonomically designed to ensure efficient operations. The layout and equipment of the premises must be planned to minimize the risk of infections and provide quick and easy access to the necessary medical equipment, complying with both local and international healthcare standards and building regulations.

Project supervision is being provided by SIA “BLV Advisory Group,” with the project designed by the architectural firm “Ozola & Bula.”
