Topping out ceremony at Ādaži Primary School 15.11.2018
On Thursday, 15 November, the topping out ceremony took place at the new Ādaži Primary School to mark the completion of a construction phase. According to traditions, topping out is held when the last beam is placed atop the building frame and the roof structure is erected.

On 25 October, a time capsule with a message for future generations was laid in the foundation of the new block of Sigulda State Gymnasium’s building, which is being constructed by MONUM. The construction of the new block of the building at 7 Ata Kronvalda Street was launched in May this year, and it will continue until the summer of 2019.

On the 6th and 7th October the youngest Latvian motocross riders ranked first and second in the race "Coupe de l’Avenir’’ or the Future Hope Cup qualification in Belgium. The youngest athletes of the class MX65 won and the MX85 team was second. Nine athletes of the Latvian National Team won the overall among thirteen competing countries.

The business support centre of Aloja Municipality – library SALA built by MONUM has been recognised as the most sustainable building in Latvia and has won the 1st place in the competition The Most Sustainable Building and Project 2018, sub-category Public Buildings.
Grand opening of the reconstructed Sigulda Culture Centre took place in Sigulda 18.09.2018
The grand opening of Sigulda Devon, the Sigulda Municipality Culture Centre, reconstructed by MONUM, was held on 14 September. The building incorporates unique design elements on its façade, featuring decorative panels with sandstone outcrop pattern print from the Velnala cliffs.
Official opening of multi-apartment rental houses held in Valmiera 10.09.2018
On 6 September 2018, a special opening ceremony was held for the opening of multi-apartment rental houses at 1 Mālu Street and 8 Ķieģeļu Street in Valmiera. MONUM carried out the construction design, construction work and design supervision of the project.
