In the spring of 2019, MONUM started work on the Latvian-Russian border crossing point Terehova, which is the busiest in the country. Major reconstruction and modernisation work is now underway as part of the project.

At the end of 2019, MONUM, as the leading partner of the General Partnership MMG, signed a contract on the development of a construction design, design supervision and construction work at the Pāternieki Border Crossing Point, Piedruja Parish, Krāslava Municipality.

The topping out ceremony took place at the wood chip boiler house in Valmiera, which is expected to start its operations in the heating season 2020/2021. The cost of the project is EUR 4.9 million, of which EUR 1.66 million is co-financing from the EU Cohesion Fund.

Daily business: EUR 4.9 million chip boiler construction starts in Valmiera 11.09.2019
The first stage of Valmiera wood chip boiler house construction has been opened. A capsule with a message for future generations has been built into the foundations of the Chip Boiler House - September 10 issues of the municipal newsletter Valmiera and the local newspaper Liesma, as well as two significant things - the Valmiera Growth Medal and the Bank of Latvia's anniversary coin dedicated to Jāzeps Vītols from Valmiera.
