’MONUM’ introduces media and business representatives with the new brand and business strategy 24.03.2015

Today, on 03.24.2015., ’MONUM’ introduced media and business representatives with the new brand and business strategy. The event was attended by the leading Latvian media representatives, our business partners, as well as Ivo Lakucs, the head coach of ’MONUM’ supported Latvian BMX elite  and two-time Olympic champion Maris Strombergs.

During the event Maris Ozolins, Chairman of the Board of ’MONUM’, presented the necessity of re-branding. He said: “As the times change, so does our company – we are opening up new markets and extending the range of the services, as well as adapting our business strategy to the latest industry developments and customer needs. Thinking about the company’s competitiveness and business development opportunities, we came to the awareness that the company’s name ’Siltums Jums’ restricts us. Ever since 2012, we offer a wide range of construction services, but still we were connected only with heat and water engineering construction.”

Member of the Board Gatis Logins explained the fact that the company is changing not only the visible part – the company name and visual identity, but also introduces a new business strategy: “In 2012, external and internal engineering services made 80% of the total range of our services, while general construction works only 6%, but in 2014 the general construction works were 21% and engineering services – 68%. This year the proportion has furtherly changed and it is expected that the general construction works will amount to 41% of the total services provided. Our goal is leadership, which means our desire to be among the best. It is our commitment today – to be innovative and different, to be reliabe partner. Our motto reads ’We build for you ’, and it describes our goal – applying the latest technology and advanced methods to ensure an individual approach to every customer.”

During the event ’MONUM’ was also pleased to announce that it has become the key supporter of the Latvian BMX elite team on its way to the 2016 Rio Olympics.
