On July 4th, an agreement was signed for the implementation of the project “Establishment of the Eastern Latvia Smart Technology and Research Center (ALTOP) Industrial Park” in the emerging industrial park area in Lociki, Augšdaugava Municipality.

The project’s objective is to develop a nationally significant industrial park and regional infrastructure in the Latgale region, attract investors, promote the creation of high value-added and export-oriented jobs, and reduce regional development disparities between the Latgale region and the rest of Latvia.

The project includes the construction of a production building, engineering communications, the development of the surrounding area, and the reconstruction of the “Lociki-Lidlauks” and “Lidostas Street” roads.

Following the procurement procedure and a positive opinion from the Procurement Monitoring Bureau, a contract for construction works was signed with SIA “Monum”, for partial water supply and sewerage network construction with “Apola-D”, while the construction supervision will be carried out by SIA “BaltLine Globe”, and the author’s supervision by the project developer SIA “BM projekts”.
