Topping out ceremony at the Mārupe Houses project 09.04.2021

Honouring the ancient traditions of construction, on 9 April a topping out ceremony was held at the MONUM construction project in Mārupe, where a multi-storey apartment house is being built.

“The topping out ceremony symbolises the completion of the significant structures of the building and of the main construction works. We have completed work on the construction of the building frame and assembly of the roof structures. We continue laying the roof covering as well as installation of the windows and construction of the internal utility systems. In the nearest future, we plan to start the facade construction,” Kaspars Brencis, Construction Project Manager at MONUM, outlines the status of the project.

A four-storey residential building with a total of 100 modern apartments is being constructed as part of the Mārupe Houses project. The apartment building will offer two-, three- and four-room apartments ranging from 47 to 110 square metres.
