We are pleased to announce that the reconstruction project of the boiler house at 38 Brīvības Street in Ventspils has been successfully completed, and the facility has been commissioned!

The official opening ceremony took place on June 3 of this year.

The project included:

• Dismantling of the existing “Komforts” wood-chip boiler;

• Installation of two new 5 MW biomass boilers (totaling 10 MW);

• Installation of electrostatic filters for both the new and existing 2 × 10 MW boilers;

• Modernization, automation, and efficiency upgrades of the existing boiler house.

All work was carried out within the existing buildings, providing an environmentally friendly, efficient, and sustainable heating solution for Ventspils.
