The first European games involve the Latvian BMX elite riders supported by MONUM 29.06.2015
From June 12 to June 28, 2015 the first European games were held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. More than 6,000 athletes from 50 European countries including 67 Latvian athletes were competing in 20 sports. Also four Latvian BMX elite riders, which are supported by ’MONUM’, took part in the historical event: three students of the coach Ivo Lakus – Edzus Treimanis, Rihards Veide and Kristens Krigers and student of the coach Olafs Lakucs Sandra Alexeyeva. In 32 male and 16 female BMX riders competition Sandra Alexeyeva showed good result, winning the high sixth place. All three men did not make the finals this time.
