On 25 March 2021, MONUM, as the leading partner of the General Partnership MONUM D, signed a contract for the construction and assembly works at the substation Viļaka, Susāji Parish, Viļaka Municipality.

“This is a challenging project in which we will reconstruct the 110 kV distribution box of the substation Viļaka. As a result, the quality and reliability of power supply will be improved and the electricity transmission network in Viļaka Municipality will be modernised,” Jānis Sproģis, Member of the Board at MONUM, outlines the goals of the project.

Construction works are planned to be started already in April this year and completed in 2022. The project owner is Augstsprieguma tīkls AS.
