Reconstruction and modernisation of the Latvian-Russian border crossing point “Terehova” 2019
In February 2019, MONUM signed a contract for the reconstruction and modernisation of the Latvian-Russian border crossing point Terehova. The total cost of the project is EUR 7 186 389,76 including VAT.
“This is a strategic project that testifies to the development of the border infrastructure at the busiest border crossing point between Latvia and Russia. Reconstruction will result in improving not only the visual image of the building but also modernising the information flow: thanks to modern technology solutions, the institutions involved will be able to carry out the necessary document checks faster and more efficiently,” Andris Vējiņš, Project Manager at MONUM points out.
The construction work is scheduled to start this April.
