The waste water treatment plant, built with the co-financing of the EU Cohesion Fund, will be inaugurated tomorrow at 10 o’clock at Druvenieki road 10, in Ozolnieki. This plant will ensure qualitative treatment of waste waters in Ozolnieki village as the municipality informed.

Part of the project, during which the waste water treatment plant was constructed – the pre-treatment and production building, as well as 150 square meter large sludge area with a shelter – was completed already in December.

Waste waters to the treatment plant are supplied from the domestic sewage networks of Ozolnieki village, reconstruction and improvement of which is continued during this project by the company ’Ozolnieku KSDU’.

The plant has a waste water collection point from tankers installed in order to provide services to those clients, whose houses are not connected to domestic sewage networks.

The General contractor is ‘MONUM’, which has completed the construction works before the scheduled deadline and in good quality, as was mentioned by the municipal enterprise.

Third part of the project “Reconstruction and expansion of water and sewage networks in Ozolnieki” will be continued within the framework of the project co-financed by the EU Cohesion Fun until October 2014.

Part of the water and sewage networks is being constructed-reconstructed in Ozolnieki village:

Water supply networks (DN 63-160) of 3,1 km;

Gravity sewage networks (DN 160-315) of 3,0 km;

Sewage pressure pipes (DN 160) of 1,6 km;

Construction of six (6) new sewage pump stations (SPS) with the capacities (Q=15, 15, 13, 12, 6 and 6 l/s).

These works that the residents can observe every day are performed by ‘MONUM’. The work process is encumbered by the communication networks in the ground, which unfortunately are not shown in the topography layouts. We express our gratitude to the contractor for the understanding of this situation and the attitude.

The technical site supervision for the construction work contracts signed for all project parts is performed by the employees of Firma L4 Ltd., who monitor the quality of the work performance and the conformity of the works to the design and control the preparation and formatting of the as-built documentation on regular basis.
