The Aloja district business support centre “SALA” has opened in a formal ceremony 02.11.2016

On Friday, 28 October 2016, a formal ceremony was held in Aloja in honour of the opening of the Aloja District Business Support Centre “SALA”.

The building’s opening event attracted almost 100 guests. Among them were representatives of MONUM.

Before the formal cutting of the ribbon to mark the opening of the centre, the guests were addressed by the Aloja District Council Chair Dace Vilne. She thanked the business partners for their support during the project and stressed that, “We hope that this building will become not only a place popular with the residents and entrepreneurs of Ungurpils and the District of Aloja, where they can generate ideas and spend their free time, bet that it will be important to the whole of the Vidzeme region. Her words were subsequently reinforced during a congratulatory address given by the Head of the Limbaži Main Library Dzintra Justa, “The community of librarians very much looked forward to the opening of this building, because its combination of functions is unique. We consider it to be a resource for all of us, because we’ll be able to organise seminars, lectures and library events here.

MONUM began work on the construction of the building in the village of Ungurpils at the start of 2016.
