On October 3, 2023, a event took place in Daugavpils – a time capsule with a message for future generations was embedded in the foundations of the newly constructed boiler house building. The boiler house construction project is extremely important for the development of the city’s heat supply, as well as for strengthening the environmentally friendly lifestyle, as the boiler house will operate with wood chips.
The administration of the municipality of Daugavpils state city, the municipal joint-stock company “Daugavpils siltumtīkli”, the general contractor SIA “MONUM” and the construction supervisor SIA “Dromos” took part in the capsule laying event.
