Latvian BMX team starts World Cup season 20.04.2015
On April 19, 2015 the first round of BMX Supercross World Cup took place in Manchester, Great Britain. Among the 64 participants Latvia was represented by all four Latvian elite riders that are supported by ’MONUM’ – Maris Strombergs, Edzus Treimanis, Kristens Krigers and Rihards Veide. The most succesfull start was for Edzus Treimanis who won the high fourth place and entered the final.
In 2015 season the BMX Supercross World Cup will have 5 rouns, which will take place in the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden, Argentina and the United States. The athletes will be able to fight for a large number of UCI points required for Olympic qualification.
