We have signed an agreement on the construction of the entrepreneurship support centre – SALA library in Aloja Municipality.

During the construction of the architectonically fascinating building environmentally friendly materials are used, and the building will be low-energy. The heating energy will be provided by using renewable energy resource technologies – borehole heat-pump, sun energy station and sun collectors.

The project will be implemented within the open call “Emission reduction technologies including renewable energy, sustainable buildings and technology development” under the EEA Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 programme “National climate policy”. The project is co-funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area.

Total construction costs: EUR 886 119.84.
