On May 17, 2018, the construction of the first stage of the project of the new Adazi school began in a solemn atmosphere. During this time, 32 classrooms will be built, and on September 1 next year, about 800 small tanners will take their place.

Currently, several hundred piles have been screwed into the ground, the construction of communications is nearing completion, which also brought the first surprises.

“On a part of the construction site, it turned out that the foundations of the old building were underground,” said Maris Ozolins, Chairman of the Board of Monum.

“As you know, in Soviet times, not everything was accurate on topographic maps. Together with the customer team, we have successfully solved it, and I do not think that this will lead to additional costs, ”added Ozoliš.

It is planned that the first round of the project will be completed by 2019/2020. the beginning of the school year, but the entire project is expected to be completed by 2023.
