In the afternoon of Friday, 8 July, a traditional topping out ceremony marked a new phase of development of our small, yet important project – “Extension of Adazi preschool education establishment – sports and event hall”.

The construction of the extension of Adazi Kindergarten began early this year, in February, and is scheduled to be completed by the beginning of the new school year. The extension will house a multifunctional hall, two changing rooms, equipment storage room, showers and toilets. Outside of the working hours of Adazi Kindergarten, the hall will be available to pupils from other regional schools, as well as children with special needs.

“It is not just an investment in buildings, it is an investment in children, laying the foundation for a healthy lifestyle,” said the Chairman of Adazi Region Council Maris Sprindzuks (Māris Sprindžuks) when describing the significance of the new extension.
