Check out the construction of a major industrial complex in Rēzekne 15.02.2018

With the goal of establishing infrastructure conducive to doing business, construction of a major new industrial complex is continuing in Rēzekne.

The total area of the factor complex will span 6,784 m2. It is planned that the industrial complex, complete with administrative – domestic block (spanning 138×48.70 m), will be built using metal frame structures with metal beams bearing the load of the roof. The building’s outer walls will be made from sandwich-type panels, which consist of two painted steel plates with thermal insulation material in the middle. According to information provided by the municipality, the south-eastern section will contain a two-storey office with working premises for 65 employees. The first floor of the office will contain domestic premises for workers: changing rooms with showers for 200 workers and a dining hall.

It is planned that energy will be recovered in the building by using ventilation system units with rotation type recuperators, whose heat recovery efficiency is over 73%, which corresponds to the requirements of the prospective Eco Design – 2018 standards. It is planned that thermal energy produced in this manner will be used to support the thermal workloads consumed by ventilation systems, thus reducing heat consumption by the building’s boiler house.
