MONUM has signed a contract to build Ādaži Primary School 21.02.2018
Today, on 21 February, a formal ceremony was held at which MONUM signed a contract with Ādaži Regional Council for the construction of the first phase of Ādaži Primary School and the street (the extension to Attekas Street) adjacent to the new school building.
The area of the new school building will be 10,500 m². The new school building will be designed with high energy efficiency indicators to reduce its running costs.
Construction of the first phase of the school will not only provide residents of Ādaži Region with access to the services of a regional general education institution, but will continue to develop Gaujas Street and Attekas Street as a spatially uniform location in Ādaži of outstanding architectonic merit. Moreover, the technical specification of the project stipulates the requirements for access to a new school building and vehicle traffic flow that prevents traffic jams from occurring, meaning that parents can get about smoothly, without causing disruption to those around them.
Total project costs: EUR 17,626,000 + VAT.
