LSM.lv: Terehova border crossing point on the border with Russia continues to be renovated 14.10.2019

Construction has been going on in Terehova, the largest border crossing point on the Russian border, for six months now. The modernization of the border crossing point has been started, as well as the territory and control infrastructure are being improved.

The customs control building, which has already served its time, will be dismantled and a new, modern building will be built next to it. “Let’s start assembling metal structures on these columns and build foundation beams between them. The floor will be concreted, and it is planned to get this building under the roof by winter, so that finishing works can be started during the winter period, ”says the planned works by MONUM project manager Andris Vējiņš.
