In Aluksne, on the street Jankalna 17A, work on the construction of a new training and sports center is successfully continuing and the construction of the facility is underway. The long-awaited outlines of the construction of sports infrastructure are already being felt – at present, the installation of roof structures continues, the first walls of the building are concreted, in the near future it will be possible to begin the installation of load-bearing metal structures.

The multifunctional gym will include a sports ground for basketball, volleyball, floorball, mini-football and an athletics area with running tracks, sprint, long jump and hockey sectors, as well as judo, a gym and gyms. The future central sports building of the county can be used to support the educational process of county students, the activities of residents and sports associations, and the organization of various sports competitions.
