A new purification facility in Ādaži officially opened 29.06.2017

Today, 29 June, a new wastewater purification facility was officially opened in Ādaži. In connection with a strategic plan drawn up by the Ministry of Defence, the expansion and development of the military base in the District of Ādaži has commenced, together with an increase in the number of military personnel. With the expansion of the Ādaži military base and an increase in the number of people using the base, the volume of wastewater will increase rapidly, the purification of which requires additional capacity. In order to ensure that the residents of the District of Ādaži are able to live in a clean and orderly environment, MONUM has built a new purification facility in accordance with an order from the Ādažu Ūdens water company.

Thanks to the newly-built purification facility, it is now possible to provide the growing number of residents in the District of Ādaži with a wastewater purification service, as well as to facilitate the growth of industrial companies and the expansion of the military base.
