Kandava heating grid enters service 12.10.2017

Today, the Kandava heating grid has entered service. In a town in which there has been no centralized heating for at least 20 years, this is a major event!

In the course of this project, MONUM built a heating network spanning almost 4km, including construction of new heating units. With the establishment of the new grid and the construction of the biomass boiler house, the city now has a unified heating systems in which 13 stokers have been replace by one boiler house supervisor.  The installation of the new heating system cost EUR 2.2 million.
