On January 15, 2019, MONUM entered into an agreement with JSC Valmieras Enerģija for the construction of a new wood chip heat source on the right bank of the Gauja in Valmiera.

According to the contract, MONUM will design and build a boiler house. Work on the design started on January 16, 2019. The project is planned to be completed next spring.

“This project is important for the city of Valmiera – as a result, the city’s heat supply system will be modernized. MONUM will build a modern boiler house that meets modern requirements, which will provide heat supply on the right bank of the Gauja already in 2020. We are pleased to have been selected as the implementers of this project, ”says Kaspars Brencis, Construction Project Manager.

The total cost of the project is 6,038,380.07 euros including VAT.
